Awhile ago I uploaded a rather lengthy song called "As If Suspended In Water". Being without internet except when I visit my sisters and my friends house, I have had alot of time recently to just play and record. I re-did this song completly, and its about 5-6 minutes shorter now, ( It tops out at 12:49, So the length is not too bad anymore ).

I also think I got a decent drum sound this time, And the mix is better, as are the vocal quality. So if I could steal 13 minutes of your time, I'd love to know what you think of my new song, Im really happy with it, And would love to know your guy's opinnion and constructive criticisms, especially when it comes to mixing and production elements of the song.

Also, here are the lyrics.

The story is generally the same, except with more detail, Even though its a shorter version. A man who spends the entirety of his young life exploring earth obsessively, becomes unsatisfied with the planet. As he looks at the night sky one day, he decides he must conquer space. He spends decades traveling constantly forward trying to reach what he believes must be an "end". But he just finds infinite nothingness eventually and it drives him insane. But as this happens, he meets another version of himself, the anti-matter version of himself. I heard a theory where there technically could be anti-matter universes, and the anti-matter version of himself was taking the same journey.

But when they breach each others universes and meet each other, since they consist of particles and anti-particles they just ignite a pair annihilation, and end up destroying there universes.

A life time waiting, just waiting, for the time to come
When all is before me, I shall behold
The beauty of everything. The Beauty of old
A lust to wander the eart, Traverse the mind

Floating through the river of consciousness
Above the mountains of the cities of earth
Wandering, Endlessly
Dissecting what lies beneath
Dreaming in a heightened state of awareness
Hanging there in sleep

I live, I laugh
I love, I cry
Yet still
I'm empty
Inside

I look to the night sky,
And know where I must go

Reaching further than the boundaries of earth
No longer is her love enough to quell the thirst
I leave her trailing behind in the stardust
Mind racing carelessly into the unknown

Decades traversing the emptiness of space
The knowledge of what lies out here
Slowly acting upon the mind
Bringing it down

Pioneer of the final frontier
Setting the standard high
Sol but a distant past
Pluto but a dot in the sky
All these too
Shall come and pass
But my journey
Shall be forever

I lived, I laughed
I loved, I cried
No longer do I feel those in me
Gone forever
I peer into the blackness
To know the truth
But the price of knowledge

As you look into it, So it looks into you

On the brink of extinction, Standing at the edge of space
The madness of infinity, Bears it burden upon me
Cannot comprehend, Never ending nothingness
The blackness of the void
Sucks me in deeper and deeper

Stare into the heart of a star, Let the light burn my eyes
Absorb the knowledge of the universe
All systems set to collide
With the fabric of time and space
Black hole destiny
Take me in

For every man that gazes upon the vast emptiness
Empires of absent galaxies destroy the senses

Pionneer of the final frontier
Setting the standard high
Sol but a distant past
Pluto but a dot in the sky
All these too
Shall come and pass
But my dreams
I will never see
What have I done?
What have I become?
Matter meets anti-matter
Pair Annihilation
