I have to questions about the REC programm:
-Am I allowed to post process my guitar sound or to record 2 guitar tracks for a better sound?
-Can I record the same lesson twice? If yes - will the score be added to the current score or will the previous score earned for this lesson be deletet(if better)

I like how I can 'click' on a members name in the Score Board and see all there uploaded lessons. This is very handy for monitoring your own progress as well as others. This could also be very helpful for a member having a problem with a lesson. Find someone that has done it and them you can ask them for help overcoming your issue.

Everyone is doing a great job putting this together!

Thanks to all envolved smile.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Yes, Fran is definitely right. If we lower down the limit, we will eventually have lots of level 10 titules. This way it is far more interesting. As with guitar - hard work is what matters, there is no cheating wink.gif

If you earn 75% or above on the lesson, you pass. If not, it is considered a failed attempt and not calculated in your ranking. The percentage is not a factor on the scoreboard, just for passing or failing. The level of the lesson and the number of lessons is how you earn rank on the scoreboard. smile.gif

This is awesome, although I should never have uploaded the level 2 lesson as it downgrades me currently tongue.gif. But seriously, it's a good addition to the GMC system smile.gif

There should be different ranks depending on intermediate, beginner or advanced, so that someone that get good score on a beginner's video, doesn't get more rank than someone that get half-good grading on advanced video.

Just a suggestion

This the reason behind averaging your 5 highest level "passing" scores. Again, the percentage you see is only to average the grades to see if you passed or failed. example: Advanced player throws up 5 Level 2 lessons with 100% passing grades. 2+2+2+2+2=10/5=2 2 would still be his level. Now if advanced player posts this scenario: 5+8+6+7+9=35/5=7 7 would be his current level. Hope this made sense.

Ok, that's great! I was gonna suggest percentage*0.difficulty/10, example 76*0.8=60.8/10=6.1 point, but you seem to have it under control!
