As you requested, Not sure if this is the proper way but, I would like something to work on my alternative picking in a large speed, I've been trying to force my hand to go even faster but not sure if it's clean enough, I never went out of my speed limit dued to that.

Thanks smile.gif

Filipe, speed is the result of hard practise and time. You have to extremely patient and hard-working to achieve a certain cleanness in your fast runs. The first step is the synchronization of both hands. Yours is already not bad, but it´s always good to practise. Here we go with the first lesson: Alternate Workout by Muris Varajic. This lesson is very fast (130 bpm), but our goal is tempo 90 bpm for now. First, learn and understand the principe of the lesson. Consequently, you should have memorized the whole lesson. This can take a few days of practise. Don´t forget to use straight Alternate Picking. When you can play the lesson without looking at the tabs, set your metronome at 70 (or take the backing track) and play and send me a take. I´ll tell you when we can speed up. wink.gif

Practise hard! smile.gif

Oops. laugh.gif I think you didn´t mention the cleanness. tongue.gif
Anyway, it´s all a question of muting and left/right hand precision. Just look how Muris it does.

Yeah, That's what I'm doing...Well, gonna try to explain properly...It's not cleanness actually, I explained it wrong, it's hiting the string with the right timing, cause I'm not use to that sort of position, I never did use it in my playing dued to my "fat" fingers that got in the way laugh.gif

I see. Just practise it slowly and don´t forget to clearly move your fingers when playing the note. Just look at Muris, he has not small fingers and plays clean. smile.gif
