Filipe, speed is the result of hard practise and time. You have to extremely patient and hard-working to achieve a certain cleanness in your fast runs. The first step is the synchronization of both hands. Yours is already not bad, but it´s always good to practise. Here we go with the first lesson: Alternate Workout by Muris Varajic. This lesson is very fast (130 bpm), but our goal is tempo 90 bpm for now. First, learn and understand the principe of the lesson. Consequently, you should have memorized the whole lesson. This can take a few days of practise. Don´t forget to use straight Alternate Picking. When you can play the lesson without looking at the tabs, set your metronome at 70 (or take the backing track) and play and send me a take. I´ll tell you when we can speed up.
Practise hard! |
