Whats up guys

Just joined today but Ive been visting this site for months deciding ...hmmmm... should I... or... keep playing the same damn scale for the next few years. laugh.gif

Ive been playing guitar for the last 20 years or so but strictly drunken garage band stuff way back in the day. Got married, dropped the guitar to pay bills and raise kids. (Wife explained to me that sex drugs and rock n' roll didnt make a good husband) lol

But I'm back !! yes, im still married, I tamed the wife!

Anyway, with so much stuff on here, its mind boggling. I'm not a noob but I really do need to get back to basics and stuff.

Any suggeestions on where to start?

Thanks!

Great to have you here my friend!
As to where to start, that is a hard question.
But here is no wrong answer, whatever you start working on whether theory, technique, or whatever it is it will bring some more questions to be answered. It's an ongoing process which is the greatest things in my opinion.
Anyways, please feel free to ask any questions you have on the forum.

Thanks for the welcome!

Im currently checking out Ivan's penatonic scale series. Pretty good so far.

My first mission...
Im ripping apart my headphones and installing a second set of speakers inside them so I can have one set into the computer and the other into my amp so I can play along keeping it loud without waking the neighbourhood ! lol

I should market this, call it "jam phones" ... hmmmm wink.gif

No kidding!
I am already!
But damn it feels soooo good.

Im already looking to buy myself a new guitar, Les Pauls are looking mighty fine online! Never would of thought to drop 4000 on a guitar but after going thru some tuts and seeing how good I can be by followig u guys and the support u give to everyone: Its worth it ! Hells yeah !

But man I do suck ! Just going thru some old penatonic scales are punishing! Its been that long for me.
Pray for me my brothers!!
