Welcome to GMC !

To answer your question, I don't believe we have any tuner here at GMC.
I usually tune using A 440 frequency or tuner on my POD X3 live.

What kind of equipment do you own ?

You can tune to A 440 frequency on this website : www.metronomeonline.com

Hey thanks for that. Bookmarked it.

I have an old yamaha pacifica telecaster copy, with a digitech rp1 effect rack and a marshall amp. Its all pretty old as I used to play alot but Im just getting back into it.

Im not liking my guitar like I used to. I put it into the shop to get it ready but the action on it is way too high. Im looking to get a new one.

Can you recommend a good guitar without putting the house on a second mortgage?

You welcome man !

Digitech RP1 should have built in tuner in it. I assume since most of these guitar pedals have that for some time now.

As far as your guitar problem goes, have you considered taking it to guitar luthier ? He can adjust your action for up to 50$ and check frets intonation and everything, depending on where you are smile.gif

If you want guitar up to 500$, I recommend PRS low end models. If you are into Yamaha Pacifica then any fender will do the work smile.gif

Well, I could spend $1000 or so.

I have a telecaster copy right now so I dont want another. I want a guitar without the mid-tone pickup as I tend to sometimes hit it while picking hard.
I had this old guitar when I started out, ghetto-class but it only had 2 pickups, at the neck and bridge, it had such a sweet sound.

My friend has an old ibanez, but he said the new ones are not as good as they went cheap. This true?

There are so many choices and Ive been out of the guitar world for a long time, I dont know what my options are.

Maybe an american standard fender stratocaster ?? If you like their sound they are very good quality choice for that price range...

Do you like the single coil sound of your Tele, or you want to have some humbucker pickups on the guitar as well?
