Hey VelvetRoger,

I'm currently helping Monte get this sorted out. You are using Sonar... How do you disable monitoring on a track in Sonar? Can you post a screen shot of the button you use for that?

Also, when you use PodFarm in standalone mode without the plug in running, how is your latency? Can you jam live with it ok? Any noticeable latency?

And lastly, when doing the above, how are you listening to it? Headphones? Monitors plugged into the UX1?

THANKS!!!!

I am using the UX2 together with POD farm and I must say that I love it.

I have no noticable latency at all the way I am doing it:

1) Play through POD farm stand-alone application on the PC -> output being either the full tone or the dry tone

2) Record that tone in the DAW (am using Sonar myself), without having the POD farm plug-in running. I don't have monitoring on in the DAW, as this will definitely result in some latency

3) If I recorded the dry tone, I apply the POD farm plug-in later for full flexibility.

It might be that because my PC has 4Gb of RAM and is fairly recent that I don't have any problems though wink.gif .

In the screenshot above you can see that I put squares around the individual track monitoring buttons and in the left hand upper corner you can globally put monitoring on/off.

No noticable latency when I am playing with the standalone POD farm, as a matter of fact: I am playing almost always with that application only whether or not I am practicing or recording.

I am listening to it normally through a pair of monitors or headphones, both are fine.

Hope this helped smile.gif

Yup, all plugged into the UX2 (but that's the same for UX1 smile.gif).
