For all that you are wanting Jesse....I would just get a custom. You can have a JS body built to your specs and then get a neck the same way.....you coul even buy a Prestige 24 fret neck off of ebay and put it on the JS body. You could have the JS routed for whatever bridge you want. When you buy a JS you are spending a lot just for his name... smile.gif

Icsdds makes a good point

except for the 24 fret neck (it would not fit right on the body because it is made for 22 fret neck),

but any "S" 22fret neck would work, including the AANJ wizard 1s from the early 90's (but you dont like used stuff so i guess you are stuck with Wiz 2 necks)

If you build a custom body you could have it built for a 24 fret neck....I have two of them. That was the reason I went the custom route. I wanted a JS with 24 frets and a ZR trem....Only way to do that is custom. smile.gif

This is the only place I am aware of that makes replacement JS bodies:

http://www.monsterguitarshop.com/

You won't find and pics or anything on his site.....you just have to email him and tell him what you are wanting. smile.gif Custom guitars can be a slow and frustrating process.....remember that if you decide to go that route.

Jesse, for 700E I would seriously consider buying all the parts separately and building it yourself!!! have a look at WARMOTH!! I've built several guitars using their parts and their quality is awesome!!!

Only downside here is that they don't offer a JS style body.....other than that Warmoth is a great option. smile.gif

Js style body:D I think I will save for the satriani signature 700 euro's. Then buy pickups afterwards. And maybe a new bridge after a year or so.

The only thing I dont like is that it says Joe Satriani at the 20th fret

If it comes with an Edge III I don't think anything is a direct replacement without some modification....If 700 euros=$1400 Then I think you could do a sweet custom for that much.........I'd go the custom route... smile.gif

Marc...of all the "Edge" trems which one do you feel is the best. I am only familiar with the Edge Zero and ZR....both of which ROCK!!! smile.gif

I think you'll be happiest doing this....I would order the body now if you can...probably be about $200-250...could take 3-6 months just to get this. I'll check for you. smile.gif
