> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Rhythm placement - 2.5
Cleanness - 3
Feel - 3
Posture - 4
Sound - 2.5

This was a great take with a nice feel to it. I think tone must be biggest concern here for future recordings. Try lowering down the distortion a bit and add more muting to your playing.

I like the attitude of your playing but the rhythm placement must be worked. I also think that with that guitar and pod you can improve you sound a lot! Keep on rocking!

Some work on timing is needed. Other than that it was good smile.gif

Work on the rhythm placement and it will make everything sound stronger. Other than that very good job !

Edit: Your sound could use less gain , there seems to be too much of it.

Pay attention to the timing and try to do a better mix. Other than that, pretty nice take.

awesome take man. as the others said, pay attention on timing, try to get more attack on the low E, remember you are playing metal, so you have to be a little bit more aggressive on your playing.
overall it´s a great take. well done!
