Mayby you could try this lesson :
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...rnate-picking1/ I've been practicing this thing for a while now (although not at full speed, I'm not that fast yet) and it could be just the excercise you need. Could it be that you're just out of shape ? And that when you start excercising regularly it will come back soon ? This post has been edited by djohnneay: Apr 15 2009, 10:20 PM -------------------- |

The only thing I`ve progressed slightly in is my phrasing I feel. Which is a good thing since thats the most important thing when improvising. Cudos to phrasing, it IS one of the most important things in playing, and believe me, it's much easier to get back to same technique wise instead of pushing phrasing abilities! All you have to do is to stick more with some random AP exercises etc, you'll be back on track in no time. -------------------- Youtube

I agree with Muris here, great job on improving phrasing. It is much easier to get back your technique then to play notes with strong meaning

Its very good that you made progress in phrasing!! I'm sure you haven't LOST any speed, its like with sports - you just need few days for harder practicing to get back into shape...If you were able to play 180bpm in few weeks back , you will be able to recover fast and replicate that. Its much easier to get back to previous level of technique which you mastered then to learn something new , like in your case enhance phrasing!
here are some useful 16h note alternate picking exercises : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...note-exercises/ Report us back when you achieve your previous state - 180bpm -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
