I just spent about an 45 minutes on 5 String sweeping and I'm really happy. The song I'm trying to learn is Agape by For Today (look it up on Youtube) and the sweeps in that are at 120 beats per minute. I clocked in at 95 today, so I'm pretty close. I started at 75 so that's 20 more beats per minute covered tonight smile.gif Any one got any tips at how to keep it up for the last 25?
BTW Thank you MURIS for giving me my first 3 string sweep to practice smile.gif

Congratulations! smile.gif
This always helps me to connect sweeps and make them sound really fluid and smooth: imagine pushing your plectrum through the strings. It helps me but everyone's different... Keep up the good work

Just be patient and stay precise man, and let things settle a bit, and you will achieve greater speed on those sweeps. Congratulations on your tempo increase, great achievement! smile.gif

Great progress, keep working and you'll reach full speed very quickly,
there are no "hints" but hard work only as you noticed already,
