Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Carlos Carrillo's Yngwie Malmsteen style lesson

Original lesson here: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...-style-lesson5/

Equipment: Ibanez RG1570 with Dimarzio Evo pickups, BOSS GT8, and a dated computer and webcam

Did this for one of the monthly challenges. I didn't think that much of my take but it may be ok enough to scrape through the REC. This video comes complete with fancy frilly lace pirate shirt for that authentic Malmsteen look wink.gif

Great take but it has some muted notes on the solo part.

Some parts are not really clean and your last note wasn't very precise. However your amount of confidence and the rest of your playing still makes this take very good.
