Hi, I'm Tom from Las Vegas

I just started getting serious about playing again. My main guitar is a 1991 Jackson Soloist Pro through GTR 3 software and KRK Rockit 8 monitors. It's so cool that you don't need a wall of amps anymore to get good sounds. biggrin.gif For the lighter side, I play a Taylor 814 CE, and I'm trying to teach myself keyboards with a Roland Fantom X88. So far what I've seen on this site, makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. So many great instructors with so much info. Thanks for creating such a wonderful site.

Sounds like you have a nice setup and are ready to rock! tongue.gif

Welcome to GMC! smile.gif I can't wait to hear your uploads.

--------------------
"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

If that's the case you'd still be a smokin' guitarist smile.gif
Liked your analogy, this place is a candy store for a muso of any level.. and a nutritious one at that.
Welcome to GMC and the forum
