So, figured I'd post this here instead of a new anniversary thread.

I've been thinking about and, in some cases, listening to my playing and how it's changed for the better over the last year. My fingers really are not what they were but I'm pleased to find that they do really work and that I just have to be a little careful.

In all, I'm very happy with my progress and ability thanks to the amazing people and features of GMC. I'm not an amazing player by any standards but I feel that I've gotten to a great point with theory and the beginnings (at the very least) of so many techniques, I now have a TON of things "known" that simply need practice. It's a great feeling.

I'm excited to look back after another year, thanks everyone smile.gif

Hey Jafo, nice to read your welcome post again.

I have the same typing "addiction" at work and home so you scared me when talking about your fingers joints. We have to be careful with our finger as well and to never bend a string before we're warmed up. But after that, everything is fine. smile.gif

Glad to have you here, think I will post on my welcome thread. I celebrated my one year anniversary on GMC last month and didn't do anything for that. tongue.gif
