I quite like this band "Mercenary" because of really melodic guitar playing and maybe because they're from Denmark. (Not Martin Buus as lead on this album) (all the solos from their last album)

The lead guitarist Martin Buus often starts his solos with some rather slow playing and bending and then progresses the melody. Maybe this style could become an intermediate level solo lesson?

Hehe. Yep. From Denmark! wink.gif I too would love to see a lesson in that style. Cool band for sure.

Saw them at a summer festival a few years back. Brutal riffage! Great energy! Melodic death metal at its finest. Attached is one photo I took on the day for your viewing pleasure.
