since the vibrato is the thing that makes or breaks a guitar player, i thought it would be fun to all show your vibrato's
the thing is that i sometimes have trouble putting vibrato in my whole step bends (especially on the lower frets) and holding it for a long time

so for example put in your vid :
a bb king kinda vibrato, mostly with ur wrist
a vibrato in a bend
your own super awesome creative vibrato laugh.gif

and reply what you thought of other people's vibrato (so we can improve)

it is a good idea.
Why - a slower vibrato,
Tip.. You may notice that you can minimize that other string noise by taking the effects off.

Here's mine -

G string 1st finger only - wrist action
G string 3rd finger - bendy action
G string 3rd finger, bend downwards - dodgy
G string 3rd finger, bend up - extremely ropey!

ezra-that'd sound much better if you took off the effects-there will be less noise, and it'll be much cleaner in sound.

tomorrow i'll record something, i promise cool.gif , havent been active on the site for a while

here it is, its a bit dark, but i found that my vibrato was much much better after warming up a few hours

comments on others : wink.gif
WHY: nice one, very different from what i expected to say the least laugh.gif , my playing could use some of this
improve: try to hold it a bit longer (which is very difficult), and try to sustain it as long as possible without getting too much noise from other strings

andrew: its easy to see that you've practised a lot, it was very good
improve: sometimes the speed and pitch changed a bit, and also try to hold it a bit cool.gif

ezra: a lot of noise, the vibrato fitted in nicely biggrin.gif,
improve: all of them were very short, try to sometimes make long ones and short ones (a little more variety)

proof: schreddin!! very heavy, nice work! also lots of variation
improve: try to keep unwanted strings down (not that i heard many)

myself: i need to try to keep it even and hold longer, make sure the other strings don't start ringing and watch the pitch

note:
sometimes my comments depended on opinion, and i don't want us all to become robots, so always listen to yourself and what you like best
Even bad technique can sound cool(neill young) as long as you can play what you feel
