EDIT: Here is the little something i was talking about

One year ago I decided to get serious with my guitar, and what a year it has been..

One year of hard work, pain and suffering (nah.. not really), has brought me to the place i am today, and i must say i am extremely pleased with all the progress i've made so far, but this could not have been done without the help of all of you guys and girls..

while one year of playing guitar is practically "nothing", one year of constantly playing guitar is a big deal for me.
Sure, there has been ups and downs, highs and lows, but actually fewer lows than expected, and usually they pass again after a week or so..

Usually when I get into something I lose interest in it after a certain amount of time (around a month).. Be it a book i am reading, a game i am playing or my latest killer application i am developing.. I just lose interest.. So i am very pleased to tell you all that I am nowhere near losing interest in my guitar.. laugh.gif

In fact, my band actually got a gig, which i was very pleased to hear.. not only have i "only" been playing a year, people around me think i am good enough to play live in front of a crowd.. Sadly though, the gig was cancelled, but there will others i am sure.. rolleyes.gif

Over the last year, i've had many discussions, gotten a lot of help from a lot of you, and i've met a whole lot of awesome people.. It's kinda hard to believe that SOOO many awesome people exists in ONE place.. Right here on GMC..

There are way too many people i'd like to thank, but i hope you know how much i appreciate you, your oppinions and your help.. Thank you all..

However, there are those who have done exceptional things for me and my development and i just want to take a moment to thank all of you as well (in no particular order)..

David Wallimann
Ivan Milenkovic
Muris Varajic
Marcus Siepen
Andrew Cockburn
Kristoffer Dahl

And last but definately not least, the guy that used me as a guiny pig, and who always points out my flaws and errors tongue.gif , my mentor:

Chris Evans

Thanks.

on a side note, i have made a little something to contribute to this amazing sharing community that i will post later today.. stay tuned for this.. cool.gif

I hope that too.. music and my guitar are so extremely important for me now.. I cant believe i took a 10 year break from it.. but if i ever get in guitar "troubles" i know where to go, and you will help me back on track.. so no worries.. smile.gif
