My name is Marvin and I've played guitar for 35 years, but seriously playing for the past 3 years. I'm in a rock/country band in southern Florida, play lead and do a little (very little) backup singing. I found this website looking for some fresh ideas and really like the content so far.

My guitars are a Gibson Les Paul Classic, Fender HSS Strat, an Epiphone acoustic, and a Squire Strat (my first electric, can't set her out to pasture). My amp is a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I use a few Boss pedals but mostly get enough of what I like with the Fender amp.

Anyway, hello to all! To you beginners out there, keep it up, put the time into it, it'll stay with you and give you pleasure for the rest of your life, take it from an older string bender!
