Hey there,
today I made a new video of Canon Rock. It´s much better than the previous version, but there are still some issues.
I´m gonna play this at a show where 600 people will be. Is my performance ok? biggrin.gif

Cheers,
Tolek

You've worked on vibrato!!!
Still a bit to go, but this is a huge improvement man!

However, there are quite a bit of timing issues, and the sweeps are very sloppy.
The part where you play with one hand you got way too much noise, I'd use a muter here.
Also I think your tone is a bit cold but it may be a matter of taste!

Have fun at the show man, best of luck!

Nice video Tolek !
I like the feel of the whole video, but there are parts you can work on (intro and faster sweeps). Excellent vibrato !

Thanks, man! smile.gif I´ve worked a lot on my vibrato and I can do different kinds of it now. Really good tool.
Yeah, I´ve always got timing problems. It´s in my blood. laugh.gif
That one hand part wasn´t really clean here... Needs more muting. Maybe I should put my right hand on the lower strings?

Sure, on lower frets. Sounds like a plan!

I totally agree with the feedback given so far, and would like to add that your showman instincts are right on, just need to practice the timing and cleanliness.

Also totally agree with the right-hand as a mute on the lower frets; it won't lose any of the "wow, one hand!" effect at all.

I look forward to seeing video from the live show!

Great Tolek! I'm kinda willing to learn this myself, but it's quite some minutes to learn wink.gif Great one! It has quite some little mistakes, but I don't think your audience will hear this, unless they are all guitar players!

Good, but your timing is bad at few places(difficult parts), you need to fix that!

Great job Tolek! That's a big song and you've got a good chunk of it down! You know where it may be off just a bit and still needs some work. At the 3:20- ish mark, listen to where you play with one hand. I would focus on the tone and hit those notes... it is easily within your skill there, so there is no need to miss that section (the one hand section). You've done a great job. The crowed will love ya! you are on the road to Rock Fame, and Fortune... cool.gif

Great played biggrin.gif

As for feedback, I feel everything has been said smile.gif
You might want to relax a bit more while playing sweeps.. I got the impression that you were extremely tense and kinda pushed your hand hard downwards instead of sweeping tongue.gif
I may be mistaken, though tongue.gif

I think that was awesome Tolek, as Kaz pointed out only guitarists in the audience would find room for improvement, but it's an overall great take. Inspiring. I wish I can play that one some day smile.gif

Well your succes depends on who the audience is - if it is 600 schoolmates who listen to D'n'B and Hip Hop, they will love this - they dont know whats timing issue, sloopy sweep etc.. They just hear you play it in a VERY good way.

If you are playing to 600 musicians tho, you will have to work hard to fix those few messups (not much of them). Problem with these are, they take ages to get rid of:D

Thats the difference between normal and professional audience. Common guys came to hear good tunes and want to enjoy the music - they can enjoy only as much as you do:) Pros want to hear perfection, they are looking for comparison, new ideas etc..

To conclude it- those are just a small nuances in overally greatly played performance. Its not about being technical genuis. Its about soul which you can put into it and that matters wink.gif

+1 !
Well said Jakub, I would just add one more thing to all this.
The more you know about music, the more you pay attention to details.

You´re completely right, Jakub. The audience will be composed of average people (guys who like music and like my playing already biggrin.gif), but the judging panel is different. One music teacher, a magician and a dancer, I think. Anyway, I´m only playing for fun. And to gain some fans. laugh.gif

Thx.
