> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Had a bit of trouble with the backing breaking up while I was recording, so the timing's not brilliant, but I hope it's good enough.

Here's the original lesson. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-gu...s-style-lesson/

I used an Ibanez GRG170DX, into a Line6 Podxt, into my computer.

Great take man. Some rhythmic issues here and there, but all in all very good.

More attention on timing in this one. The rest was all ok.

Those drops in backing were distracting indeed
so you had few minor timing problems. smile.gif

Like you mentioned, backing was dropping so your timing was a bit out on certain spots. I think you can do with this one great if you record it couple of more times. Nice effort Matt.
