I have that pedal and it rulez! You'll have to spend some time finding your sound on it - but i am extremely satisfied with it!

I think it would be a great pedal BUT do not get it if your going to play it through a solid state amp. It will sound so much better playing through a tube amp.

tell you the truth, im not buying anymore digitech pedals. If i were you, im going to buy a Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff. You can get a really nice brittish marshal-esq tone to a randall distortion in a sec. Its really worth it plus its good on solid state and tube. I bought mine for about $90. Plus it has a top boost, although it just adds more of a volume and treble, its still a nice addition.
