Im Dan and iv'e been wanting to play guitar for some time. Had my guitar for a new months .Tried a few DVD's and books but none seemed to hold my interest. I came across GMC and liked the videos, the instructors and the way this entire site in setup like a community. Its pretty sweet. So here I go on my journey of learning guitar.

If i spend my time learning real guitar instead of playing Rock Band, I might actually be able to ROCK OUT for real!

Untill than, I'm a guitar Newb

I'm glad you found use. Welcome to GMC and enjoy your Journey smile.gif

Everyone here is very helpful so ask questions when you want some help.

--------------------
"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
