> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Inspired by GMCer Audiopaal, Lesson By Muris Varijac

Reaching the selector knob to switch to neck pickup turned out to be not possible. I could get there in time at the start of the solo, but then I just didn't have time to switch back to bridge pickup for the ending. Would have liked to have had a blade switch for this one. mellow.gif

Guys, thanks for the feedback. Suggestions noted. I'll work on all of them for sure. Ivan, yes, I think I used way too much reverb.

Sweet take!
Now, one thing that bother me the most here is your vibrato and the way you execute it.
You should wrap your thumb more around the neck and do "wrist move" vibrato
to get that wild and powerful vibrato on longer notes.
Timing and everything else was pretty much ok,
oh, and add more aggression into your playing when doing pieces like this one,
it's Rock And Roll! smile.gif
