Hello GMC People!

My name is Falcão from Brazil. I’m 31 years old.
I began playing electric guitar in 1993 when I was about 16. I was very influenced by some albums such as Metallica’s “Black album”, Iron Maiden’s “Fear of the Dark” and GnR’s “Use your Illusion”. I played until 1997 and stopped to study engineering. From that time until now I just played acoustic guitar, but no solos.

Now, twelve years later, I decided to study guitar seriously and everyday I ask myself: “Man, how could I lived twelve years without playing electric guitar?!”
Since I’ve found GMC I’ve been practicing a lot some beginner and intermediate lessons and guess: Practicing really woks dude!

And probably as most of you, I also found out a nice way to motivate myself and to evaluate my improvements: Recording my playing. I’ll post some videos on the “REC” forum as soon as possible.

Glad to be part of it! Keep Rocking!

Welcome Falcão =)

Indeed, recording your own playing really works great.. It did for me when I first did it and realized how extremely crappy I sounded laugh.gif
