Hey guys. I bought the HBO hit series True Blood tonight. I have to say its amazing. It's about Vampire's and humans co-existing and knowing who is a vampire and what not. It's a really cool show. It may sound retarded but it really isnt. I recommend it to anyone. Although be warned it has ALOT of sex scenes. Oh well! haha. Has anyone else seen it?

I love True Blood!!! Just got season 1 on Blu-ray and I PVR the new shows every Sunday, man I love HBO smile.gif

The series is based on the Southern Vampire Chronicles books by Charlaine Harris. The books and series are pretty different though. The series basically takes the main story line from the books but they have made characters like Tara and Lafayette into bigger roles and tweeked a few other things for TV. I enjoy both very much though.

It is a pretty graphic series however very very enjoyable.

I've been watching it on HBO Canada since last season. I agree, it's quite entertaining.

It was "aired" on cable here. I watched some episodes and it's a well made series. The idea behind it is great and it could have been a great series but to me it was to many logical flaws and obvious twists to make it really great.
Why would anyone ever enter a vampire bar, especially when you clearly can tell everybody in there is drowling like Homer "mmmm,,,, foood".
I loved the character ... Sookies brother, Jason? Esp. when he drank a whole bottle of vampire blood biggrin.gif

I've been watching this show since it premiered, in fact I was introduced to it when Blockbuster was handing out free DVDs of the pilot with each rental. With the end of Battlestar Galactica, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and soon Kings, it's definitely the best thing on TV IMO. Spectacular show.
