Yes he is! Have you ever seen an episode of "Hee Haw" with him and Buck Owens Muris? There were some greats of country that appeared on this show.

I used to HAVE to watch this every Saturday night when I was growing up. Porter Wagner show then Hee Haw every Sat. I did not like it too much really but I kind of miss it.

laugh.gif laugh.gif The pig's are just part of the "country" atmosphere they created with that show. This show was huge in the 70's here in the State's.

@ kahall, me too man! laugh.gif Not very entertaining as a kid but now that I'm older, I can appreciate it a bit more.

Which only makes it even funnier. I wonder what the producer or producers was thinking when they came up with that.
Producer1: Hmm, what should we do to get it more country?
Producer2: I know! We should throw in some half naked pigs dancing around!
Producer1: What? Isn't that just... Insane?
Producer2: No No. It's brilliant. Everyone knows that pigs are really "country"
Producer1: But half naked and dancing?
Producer2: It just looks cool.
Producer1: Ok... Let's go with that then...

( I realize that I got a bit carried away there and also lost track of the topic for this thread )

My next lesson is country smile.gif I know I'm not a master of that style but I hope those who live in those areas where country is popular are not gonna laugh at my country playing.
