Hi!
I'm new to GMC - and new to guitar!
I'm excited to start a new experience in music - so far I've been playing the piano, but now I wanna try to play the guitar. A friend of mine already showed me how to play some chords, but I discovered GMC an was blown away by the videos and the teachers! So i decided to join you smile.gif
Until now, I've got a cheap acoustic guitar, but I wanna switch on an electric one asap, then I'll ask more precise questions about techniques and these things ;-)

Nice to hear so warm welcomes smile.gif
I've been playing the piano for 5 years - so my fingers are trained, but definitely not for guitar! wink.gif
I've started with Muris' Arpeggios and Strumming, nice lesson to get used to these tricky chords smile.gif

I think (and hope laugh.gif) that theory won't be THE problem for me (btw Andrew's subforum is great and definitely worth reading) biggrin.gif
Yesterday I started playing a lesson (as I said before), and I played and played...and wohoo an hour was gone! I've never had this feeling, forgetting the time so much, while playing the piano...hope this will stay forever laugh.gif
@Muris: I will not be too shy smile.gif here are already so many helpful threads, I don't even know where to start reading, really great place to be smile.gif
