Ok Guys...The only one who probably knows about this is Emir since I've spoken with him some time ago. I want to enter ICMP ( Institute of contemporary music performance ) In London...Been studying alot for that since my exams were over but upon reading the guidelines for each, I'm starting to doubt my abilities to enter.

For Example, the Diploma:

Solid technical playing/singing skills, subject to assessment, of grade 4-5 equivalence; Minimum 5 GCSE passes at C or above (including English/Maths); Equivalent level 2 English/Maths qualifications. We may consider applicants with equivalent qualifications or professional musical experience.

I don't even know what GCSE is. laugh.gif

the site is http://www.icmp.uk.com for those who don't know. I was thinking that it would be a school for learning more but I'm beginning to feel that I have to be a pro or semi-pro to enter :lol

GCSE

And you DON'T have to be pro or semi pro
but you can't be too bad either ofc,
those are commercial schools and most important thing
for them is if you can pay for it, everything else can be fixed, kind of.

Emir will tell you more. smile.gif

GCSE is kind of a secondary school smile.gif But if you're good in music and the guitar don't worry man, you'll be fine.

Yea, GCSE is the basic high-school qualification. 5 C grades at GCSE level is very low so don't worry about it at all! If you can add 2 and 2 together, you are at GCSE level hehe.

Most places will ask for an A-level or two, which is a bit harder, but still not that good a qualification.
