I've bought my friends EZ drummer software because he doesn't use it anymore. But in which program do you run it to? He said he didn't remember, it was like 1 year ago he used it. And also, is the ezdrummer.dll the vst file?
I have tried Toontracks program "Toontrack solo" but it says it can not find the audio files :S

Better if the program is cheap or free because i do not have alot of money.

Thank you very much.

You can use EZ within any DAW as long as you install it properly,
which means that .dll file must be in right folder,
ex. Steinberg VST plugins for Cubase etc.

It also works with Reaper and Reaper is
one of the cheapest DAWs today.

When you install the program it works as VST instrument. That means you need any DAW that supports it. Sonar, Cubase, Nuendo etc... You call it through your VST instruments from a DAW and assign its sounds on some drum midi track that you previously created.

You can use Toontrack solo to hear the grooves you get with the EZXs - different drum kits.
But you need to install the software properly, of course.

Reaper is free and you can use EZD inside Reaper as a plugin.

You have to have a newer DAW software to be able to drag and drop (or Dragon Drop if you like biggrin.gif) , because when I used Cubase LE, Dragon Drop wasn't possible. Then I installed Nuendo 3 and it's been working just fine ever since.

If it isn't working in Toontrack Solo, you probably need to reinstall Ezdrummer. If you still have issues post on their forum, they are very helpful. smile.gif
