A good idea would to go to a guitar tech and tell him the problem and see if he can fix

Maybe the tuning pegs are faulty?

If it is a new guitar, I would take it back to the shop and ask them to fix it

Could it have something to do with the intonation? Not likely. Even if it's not or badly intonated it should stay the way you tuned it, even if it's out of tune. Shouldn't change. I can think of a few reasons. - Worn strings - Brand new strings - Too tight a nut that will squeeze the strings tight - Tuners that will slip or turn cause of the tension. (locking tuners huh, sure you locked them? not neccessary though) -------------------- My bands homepage

I would have to agree with the NUT! graphite from the lead in a pencil or Graph-tech I think it is called from the nearest guitar shop should help. Also there is the hip shot" trem setter", and the "armed Adjuster". THese help with the stability issues with tremolo systems. Worth a look!

I know this is probably a dumb question but.. did you swap the strings from the time you got the guitar?

Ivan did a very nice question!. Maybe the strings are quite old and the guitar needs a strings change. Old strings go out of tune
