This was a great Tour de France. Contador outclassed everyone, he could dominate for some time if he keeps at it. And he was great today. He had been accused of not being a team player, but all he did on this last difficult stage today was help Lance Armstrong so he held onto 3rd place, he showed he could be a very unselfish and helpful guy to his team. You have to give Armstrong credit for coming back after 3 years off and doing so well. And Wiggins from Great Britain was great, if he can learn to climb a bit better, he could win it. Also the two brothers from Lux, they were something. And others. Just a great tour I think.

Yes a good tour and nice to see Contador win the TdF. Think he's now one all three of the majors smile.gif . Seems a pity that there appears to be some bad feeling in the Astana team though - hopefully the rift has healed after today smile.gif .

Bradley's climbing was better this year than previously but could improve still. Cavendish did well - would, for me, have been a better points comp if the ref hadn't - rather harshly imho - took a stage win off him in favour of Tor.

Also nice to see S Roche's son doing well smile.gif .

I'm not really into cycling, but I'm glad he won, I think he deserved it smile.gif

I had heard that was overblown by media and fans. Watching today, Contador did nothing but try to help his teammates. I am pretty sure he could have won that stage if he wanted to, and that is a very prestigious stage, they don't go up that mountain very often, and people remember who wins that mountain. But he just helped his team, and did not try to win the stage himself. So I admired him for that. They kept it together enough to win the team competition, and 1st and 3rd overall.

Cavendish and Thor also kissed and made up. I think these guys have a lot of respect for each other, and they try to forgive and forget when the emotion gets the best of them.

The Tour is really exciting if you learn to follow it, and what goes on. I was on the edge of my seat for the last hour today. And I was glad to see Contador show the class he did today, I got tired of people saying he was selfish. Clearly that was not fair.
