Since the lick of the day page is getting old....why don't we (the GMC community) try and make 365 licks for the 365 days of the year. And also they can be made by members. Also, for certain times of the year, we should try and make licks that are fitting. For example, a neoclassical rendition of a part of a Christmas carol for Christmas.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a really good idea! And I especially dig the idea with matching licks to certain times of the year smile.gif

Lick of the day was a cool feature on the site. I will support this idea.

Most certainly a very good idea! I remember the months before I became a paying member. I only visited the site because of the daily lick, before I started exploring more.

This is a great idea......it's been tried a couple of times and there were only like 2 or 3 members that contributed on a regular basis. I'd love to see it happen though.... smile.gif

Would be great to restart such an initiative again (am still up for it), but it never took off the previous occassions ......
