Hi every one, as you can 5 there are already 5 lessons on different stlyes rhy guitar grooves.
The idea is to get you ready to read chord charts in a variety of styles and to show you technique of composing your own variations in order to get a more wife knowledge.
Each lesson features a characteristic chord progression of each style.
The lessons so far are:

1) Basic rhythms: Pattenrs that fits latin folk singing, made from a bass pattern and explaining the way variations can be made and a ponderation of each variation in terms of easy to play, taste and oportunity to use it. CAGED chords are used here.

02-Afrocuban rhythms: I took the pattern I used on the lesson "Estilo nro 1" and took out some of the anticipation on the bass line to adapt it to current pop music. Drop 2 class chords are used mostly, also the groove is breaked in lines on some example, you can play those easy by looking at the chord diagram.

03-Bolero/Cha-Cha-Cha: Patterns that fits this two (and more) styles using percusion on the guitar on most examples.

04-Bossa (and Samba) part 1: Same patterns can be used on this tow styles according to speed. Joao Gilñberto came with his bossa rhythms using Samba patterns. This first part uses the bass on the root. Very useful of playing with bass player so you stay out of his way. Many variations techniques.

05-Bossa (and Samba) part 2: 1-5 pattern on the bass and harder to do rhythms. A Joao Gilberto favourite as last pattern.

Upcoming lessons..... Swing!

Once a week I will post some article with score and audio about rhythm guitar, the content will be general and can be applied to any style.
Of course I´m open for any request on this topic.
