CLOSED smile.gif

Hey there GMC,

I was fooling a bit around with Cubase, Guitar Pro and some VSTs and I suddenly thought that it would make a good collaborations. I apologize now already for the somewhat poor mixing of drums, but I think it will do! smile.gif

As you will notice when downloading and listening to the track, you will have a very hard time counting it if you're counting 4/4's! You can try, but I don't think it's gonna work for you! laugh.gif

I wrote the track as a 6/8th track, but you might count it as 3/4, if you're more comfortable with that. I prefer to follow the pre-beats and count: "One, two, three, four, five, six, one, two, etc.", but that's your choice.

Here are some more specific details:

Tempo: 75 bpm
Key: Em
Participants: unlimited (instructors are more than welcome too!)
Deadline: 28th August

If you want to end on the very end of the backing track, where you hear the splash/crash, please try to land on a note in the E minor chord (E, B, G) so I can mix it fluently together with the following solo. If that doesn't work out, I'll try something different! smile.gif

If you want to know more, feel free to ask. (It's late, I'm sleepy and want some sleep before going to work tomorrow! laugh.gif )

If there are more than just a few sign ups I will make an Upload-thread. You know the drill. Upload your solo with and without the backing track!

EDIT: Oh, and you can blame/put credit to Jafomatic for the title of the collab wink.gif

Sounds familiar... This wouldn't happen to be the same melody you sent me on that "January" guitarpro file, would it? smile.gif
