Rpg Maker Vx/xp, ANYONE?

If anyone has used it or uses, what do you think of creating a game together? Lol, PIXEL ART IS AWESOME! With this thing, it's easy, (can make it advanced by using codes and scripts) to create a Zelda like game, and who doesn't love those! If you want something really good and clever you will need to read a bit upon codes and scripts and such. Even though it's easy it takes up a lot of your time, if you want to create something unique. Most of the programs in the series have the same features, but small things have changed throughout. It's not free, but it's really not expensive, and you can do loads of cool stuff with it, even when you got a bit of coding knowledge. Yeah I'll probably go with either 2003 or XP then, since VX seems to have 1 tileset for the whole game, and 2003 and such for every style of map you create. But yes, I do think you could get into the most basic stuff in 30 days. The VX version seems to have more automated events, as far as I can see, as compared to the old versions where you had to do everything yourself. Though alot of "tutorials" are working for normal scripting. Did you ever use a book? In relation to RPG MAKER? Since the scripting and coding kinda stays the same over the years.
