Some facts about my take.
1. A bit off topic, maybe. 2. Parts clearly go better with the backing's bass and drums more so than the guitar, 3. More of an AP lesson than a solo 4. Needed more practice time. 5. Lots of fun to play, so who cares. leedbreak_funk_BT.mp3 ( 479.08K ) Number of downloads: 171 leedbreak_funk_NBT.mp3 ( 479.08K ) Number of downloads: 147 -------------------- - leedbreak

I've been plagued with problems on this one, including trying in vain to upload this take for the last two hours on a crappy computer, but I finally got it, still not very satisfied with it though (never did get those modes to work). Kinda sloppy near the end but I tried to roll with it. Here 'tis:
jvm_funk_wBT.mp3 ( 911.04K ) Number of downloads: 154 jvm_funk_noBT.mp3 ( 911.04K ) Number of downloads: 105 -------------------- Gear: Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster, Gibson '67 RI Flying V, Mesa Boogie F-30 112 combo, crazy pedals.

I finsished this collab today, I must say that the background is soooo cool! make a song out of it, or else I will....
That leads me in to another topic, whatever happened to the type of hardrock/rock/funk movement that started with bands like Mothers Finest, Pat Travers etc. ??? I was really into that kind of music. Of course in the eighties there were Dan Reed Network, Living Colour and some others as well. Anyway, this kind of music rules! Recorded with GR3, Ibanez AS200, just that.... -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. Overdrive, TC-Electronics G-Major, Dunlop Wah-wah, Original SansAmp, BOSS DD-2 Music by Staffy can be found at: Staffay at MySpace |

Let's leave the perfection outside and start to having fun. After all, that's what makes music something so magic I finsished this collab today, I must say that the background is soooo cool! make a song out of it, or else I will.... I'm still loving Living Colour and all that stuff. Do know Infectious Grooves?. They are awesome. Robert Trujillo played on that band. Big recommendation from me Sorry. I need to bow out of this one. Work got crazy and I'm putting in a lot of extra hours. Thanks for understanding. No problem man. I understand it. It's so annoying when work takes out all the time we have. It would be so nice to have 26 hours on the day just for having 2 extra hours to do what we really want. -------------------- Check out my lessons!
