Letalis vulnus , mortuus lupus (Mortal wound , dead wolf)
Nusquam futurus , nusquam est prognatus (Never Existed, Was Never Born)
Sum panton ut dat ortus (I was everything at birth)

Blemish the tainted purity
Lingered over fainted beauty
Dubious soul in contempt
Not Enough to be free

Potrait of shattered feelings
Filled with high fears
Traped memories haunting
A poetic rage

Taking one's own life

[Chorus]
Rest assure, I'm part of all
Not a man but a being
Begging for a beginning
Travel away, perish in time
Become eternally part
Of an epic memory

Deleo lacrima cado amicitia (Erase the tears, perished friendship)

Grief bloms within a wound
Carved in my flesh
Mourn the agony of friends
That await such doom

Seeing one's own life fly away

[Chorus]

[Solo]

[Outro]

How I hold your name dear in my feather
The venom which you spread, in truth, stroke me hard
For which, I cannot distance myself from anguish
A torment as bright as the moon's cold eyes of despair
Beyond a silent ground of mindless creatures
I speak clearly your name, thy curse left to sustain
May forever the black in the swan, be scarred with Fear
Leaving a remaining blister of your ending rain

Nunquam iterum mos spes pervasor meus animus
(Never again will hope invade my mind)

First time using latin, inspired by Epica's lyrics...Been a long, long time since I've written something. Very deep and heart-spoken.

Letalis vulnus , mortuus lupus
Nusquam futurus , nusquam est prognatus
Sum panton ut dat ortus
I dont speak latin so I dont have any idea what this means.
Blemish the tainted purity
Lingered over fainted beauty
Dubious soul in contempt
Not Enough to be free
I can see this working in the type of song context your writing in.
Potrait of shattered feelings
Filled with high fears
Traped memories haunting
A poetic rage
This is alright. Seems a bit overdone but it blends nicely with the first verse.

Taking one's own life

[Chorus]
Rest assure, I'm part of all
Not a man but a being
Begging for a beginning
Travel away, perish in time
Become eternally part
Of an epic memory
I really like this part. the " Begging for a beginning part " is quite clever. Nice! smile.gif
Deleo lacrima of cado amicitia
Dont know what this means

Grief bloms within a wound
Carved in my flesh
Mourn the agony of friends
That await such doom

I could see this partbeing more directly applied to you.

I think this whole part is cool but would be best in a song if it was like spoken or something. With maybe a weeping solo in the back or something.biggrin.gif

Nunquam iterum mos spes envade meus animus

Overall this is good. It isn't your best by far. If I could make a suggestion. If your going to use Latin ,that is fine. But for those of us who don't speak it, maybe you could add translations at the end. That way I'm not reading this and missing and not understanding parts parts. But nice job smile.gif
