Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Alternate Etude at 160bpm by Pedja Simovic

Original Lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/altern...tude-at-160bpm/

Equipment used:

Ibanez RG370DX
GTR Solo
Sony Handycam
Sony Vegas

My first take done with vst through Reaper. The amount of gain were unfortunately, of reasons I don`t know, increased drastically when rendering to mp3, but luckily there was almost no notes to play on the lower strings.
Also my first REC take with my old RG I think.... due to the flu I was to lazy to move my arse and get a better rolleyes.gif

Great take. Your timing is good, but not perfectly in tempo, try to make it perfect by practicing some 15-20 bpm higher then the lesson. This will set you on a more comfortable pace.

Almost there. Just a bit more overall control and you're ok.
