It's probably pointed towards younger metal players, but it's still tasteless I agree rolleyes.gif

WOW!!!!
That's so cool I want one!!!

Damn, did I type that out loud? I was just having the same dream as any 9 year old who sees that thing!!!!

Also, I love this bit:-

The EMG HZ-4A is positioned in the bridge position for optimized lead performance while the EMG HZ-4 is voiced for and positioned in the neck position. Designed to emulate the sound of their active counterparts (the EMG 81 and 85), these HZ's are probably the quietest passive pickups available. And unlike actives, you never have to worry about these babies showing up dead.

But surely that's the point of bringing them to the Gig in a COFFIN!!!!!!

That's a very...interesting guitar. I respect Zakk Wylde as a guitarist, but not so much as a guitar-designer after this one.

I wanted to make it clear that I like Zakk Wylde and I think he plays a mean guitar. I just do not like the last couple of guitars that he is putting his name on. But as far as his playing I think he is great.

It would be ok if this guy was playing it, and wearing that tie. Because then, nobody would know what in the heck to think, and that can be a very good thing.

Hmmm it is hideous indeed... Maybe a little touch would do it a little better like reversing the body and adding some decorative elements like:

nah... it still looks hideous laugh.gif

HAHAHA. No way!

You can call me old-fashioned tongue.gif , but for me the most beautiful guitar design ever are Les Paul and strats! (I include also super-strats there)

I don't mind the case too much, but seriously..
That guitar was downright ugly and should be a bannable offense to even sell!

Gibson/Epiphone makes some awesome guitars, but they should fire both Zakk and the design team over this one biggrin.gif

Highly disagree personally but then I guess i'm not that old (20). Never rated Les Pauls much but strats are ok. This is way over the top. I can see what they were trying to do but I think they got over excited about a design that perhaps could have been succesful but just turned out really badly.
