Hi All!

Im Chris a new ish (actually started december 08) guitar player.

My girlfriend got me my first guitar for xmas after i kept going on and on and on about wanting to learn guitar whilst i was playing guitar hero (still an awesome game).

I started off with a guitar starter pack for like £99 (Ashton). I've recently in the last month got myself an Ibanez GRG170DX in red and a new Line 6 spider 3 75. The difference is absolutly amazing.

I think i'm still in the beginner stage even though i started a while ago as i dont think i practise hard enough even though i can't put the guitar down! i tend to play the same things over and over (intro to crazy train, the kids aren't alright etc).

I signed up to this website hopeing to learn some of the important basics so i can really start to melt some faces with my tasty riffs smile.gif

My inspiration is Offspring, Disturbed, Metallica, Iron Maiden

hope to get to know you all soon

Chris
