Hey GMC,

All to often, you come across a cool video which obviously deserves countless views (most of GMC is full of them laugh.gif).

So I thought it would be a cool idea if we would share links of these cool videos

Here are some of my favorites:

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rj-zD74f_q4...re=channel_page : the lick at 0:23 is simply amazing

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7UQh9_V2ys...feature=related : This band (Anthem) is amazing and almost no one knows about them (be sure to check out "Domestic Booty")

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xd1jDPrWix8...re=channel_page : awesome guitar

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EE7tH-pDd8w...re=channel_page : Al Pitrelli busting out the sickness biggrin.gif

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sk0jxy6j9vI...re=channel_page : a short and funny video

I'm looking forward to yours wink.gif

Just gonna dump my faves list I guess (in no particular order):

David Allen Coe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwtheBUMCGg
Shawn Lane: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkLSoXSQcYQ
Stefano Barone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDFP_MbvyGc (just favorited this last night, thanks to ES&Jams)
Caramell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_DV9b0x7v4 (thank the Swedes for this)
Portal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6ljFaKRTrI
Dynamite Hack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVkMU1iRNYE
Brad Paisley: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df53LWQuezQ (some of the best times you'll never remember)
Serino Gianni: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4HnTSYvJWc (hayes reminded me!)

There were others that I never favorited since it was faster to type in a word to my address bar. Maybe I'll edit this post and add them as I think of 'em.

Marty Friedman

Sorry to go a little off topic here, but you (being a Marty Friedman-fan) should also check out the band "Hawaii" (one of the first bands from Marty Friedman).

Here's one of their songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ92m89X7iU

Check out the solo at 2:05 wink.gif

"Hawaii"

Yeah, that's really cool! Never really checked Hawaii before and now I have one more band to listen to, thanks.

But, back to the topic cool.gif

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEAtk6moKtw
Jason Becker, covering Malmsteens black star. As much as I love Becker and this vid, one can only wonder how a person who plays this tune otherwise so impressively can have such a lapse in that part with the bends and all(you'll know what I Mean)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ss3ASlxNSo4
Aniello Desiderio, classical guitarist, I'm not sure if this guys a man, machine or an alien... or possibly a mixture of the last two, but I am sure that he kills on the guitar. piece is Paganinis grand sonata 3rd movement. (Be sure to check out the crazy shredding finale that starts about 5:00)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIr-WBZT1MI
Eddie Van Halen, at NAMM 2007 just fooling around, great vid!

Two of my favorite Paul Gilbert vids...

Paul playing 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' with Yellow Matter Custard, awesomeness!

Paul doing 'Fly Me to the Moon', singing too smile.gif

I'm back with some more of my favorites:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sl4xRmb_2tE
Here's another of those Japanese guitarists. I'm simply intriged by all of them laugh.gif.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=806ADLWSfTo
This is one of those NWOBHM metal bands that came out of the Netherlands. Pretty hilarious clip and good music.
My former guitar teacher (taught me for 4 years) used to also play in one (Lionspride - Breaking Out) and he had the best CD collection ever. cool.gif He really fueled my hunger for NWOBHM biggrin.gif

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrDcJwxQGOc
Greg Howe doing what he does best. I love his first CD (the others to but the first one more) and have his instructional video from that period. smile.gif

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENcu12wGvF8
Some Joey Tafolla. He's a mostly unknown shredder and it's a shame because his first CD (Out of the Sun) is amazing. Be sure to get it, if you can find it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ll9bQBJU3Y
This is a pretty cool vid. You should hear the guys from Spinal Tap comment about Yngwie Malmsteen (3:55).
