Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Time to throw this one under the bus. smile.gif Candid comments appreciated.

Audio: Fender 57 Strat (reissue) -> BOSS DR-880 -> garageband
Video: Flip

At the BOSS device I used the "Lead Stack" preset, and tweaked up the delay and reverb slightly. No effects added at garageband, where my take was mixed with the backing track.

Very good take. I think your timing has to be more tighter, and vibratos have to be strictly from the wrist and better controlled.

Really close!
You were kind a in a hurry on few spots which led to not so tight timing,
stay close to the backing, move a little in the groove and it'll be better.
And vibrato, yeah, could be better spend some time on it, good effort, well done! smile.gif

Maybe your vibratos weren't absolutely perfect but this is a very good recording.

It was a very nice take. A few things that you should work on.
1-You have to correct your timing. It is escencial to keep your time while playing, specially when you're recording
2-Vibrato as all the guys said
3-I also like to recommend you to work on your legatos. The notes aren't that clear on the legatos. It makes the solo lose some mystic.
4-Try to move the less you can your wrist, so you can get used to aproach wrist movements. You will notice it when playing fast
