Hey, that's pretty good! I though it had a very Beatle-ish sound to it (I'm thinking of the great harmonies in particular). Good song and well recorded, I enjoyed it.

That sounds very very professional.

Good stuff Pick, definately Beatles /60's influenced and a darn good job of it too.

Good singing, playing, recording. What more is there to say?

Thanks, I know the song is probably a bit tame for the committed shredder. biggrin.gif
I was not shooting for the "bubble gum" sound, but, the song turned out that way. I am still happy with it though. One person wrote "I can just see Gidget running down the beach" laugh.gif and another said it sounded like a song from the "Monkeys" laugh.gif

I must agree it's very "Beatlesk"
I also did not think about Purple Haze, but, I too caught the rip-off upon playback.

I am at a point where I am working on recording skill and technique more than learning guitar. I may be at a point where my simple inexpensive recording set up is about at its limitations. I mix with a $25.00 set of headphones, or the little computer speakers...not very professional. I use our all purpose family computer with $42.00 N-Track Studio recording software- standard built in soundcard.

Practice is more important and will do more for your sound and ability than gear my friends!
....And it costs less too! wink.gif

pickngrin - you really proved that practice is more important than gear!!! great job using only the tools at hand! that is definitely a catchy tune... most definitely early beatlesque!!! kind of reminds me of that movie with tom hanks that i believe was an hbo special - "that thing you do".
