Do you have some count in before the chords actually start? What tempo is this in? Do you have longer backing?

Hi Pedja, do you still want a version like this?

-EDIT- Aah... Now I get it. I have to play around much more with the rythm to make an interesting solo out of only soloing with tensions smile.gif Great example Pedja, Thanks a lot.

I think it's going ok. I didn't record video because my access to my computer and internet is very limited.

It is definitely a progress compared to previous upload. I would like you to be more rhythmically active and use motives in your melodies. In this one you had plenty of space smile.gif

The reason that I have a lot of spaces is that I don't like the sound of tensions (alone).

So do you think I should record another solo or should we leave this for now?

We can move on now to another mode where we would do the same thing as with Dorian.

Pick a mode from the ones listed below. Create a backing track (drums bass and chord accompaniment). Solo 3 choruses using chord tones in 1st chorus, tensions in 2nd chorus and outside approaches in 3rd chorus.

1) Lydian
2) Mixolydian
3) Aeolian
4) Phrygian
5) Ionian

Pick a root of your choice Olle.

Let me know if you have any questions!
