Santiago, thank you so much for this gorgeous arrangement. I already want to re-track half of my take and make it even nicer. As always, some parts are so nice that I don't want to replace them.

Well I hope you don't mind me jumping in. I really liked the backing and had fun doing some improv over it.

Sorry for the break in the beginning but I thought it help set the mode some. I will try to work on the melodic ideas some more and upload another take if I have time.

Cheers bro!

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Sorry man, here is another mix!
Found some new VST's and mixed it better, well I think.

Hope you like it. I can't stop playing with your backing track laugh.gif tongue.gif

Well here we go - I´m (as always!! happy.gif ) NOT happy with my recording abilities (the sound is so much worse than whats coming from the speakers) but it´s mainly about the exercise of vibrato & bending, right? RIGHT?! tongue.gif

Really looking forward to your feedback - Backtrack was REALLY great to play a-looong! cool.gif

Cheers
Berglmir

PS. Had to change some tone issues in my take - thx!

Well here it is. My bend and vibrato take, and not much else. I guess that was the point.
Would love to do a better one but my finger tips are suffering and I can't let them get bad with 3 more collabs due in a week. Lots of fun tho and sweet backing to play over.

Ok, I got it.
I think I found a lot of opportunities for bending here and a few sustained notes for vibrato. Listening to the dry version of this take, I can hear that I'm getting a little better at a natural sounding vibrato, though it's still kind of too subtle that it might be getting lost in the mix. The backing track was so awesomely full of sweet notes and textures. Thanks for this Santiago. I hope that I managed to capture the mood of the piece. I'm looking forward to your feedback and to hearing everyone's takes.

for some reason i couldnt get creative with the collab...it is a very generic ballad progression but it was weird....but i managed to come with something!
