Wasn't there a site where a person could see adds for musicians that were needed for bands? Also, if not, do you guys know what's the best site to find a band in London?

Another one to try is http://www.musofinder.co.uk/wanted/

Years ago a good option was the weekly Melody Maker music paper but that merged with NME a few years back. Maybe NME still does small ads, or possibly Time Out... Also if you're in the city centre try Andy's Guitar shop - there are usually quite a few ads on the pin board there.
