Hey everybody,

My friend, Steven Hoyle, spent some time with me a few weeks ago and we recorded some gear demos and such, so I thought I'd share some of them here with you guys. He's one of my favorite guitar players and the best player I know personally.

I've got no idea, but I'm certain that it would be way out of my own price range.

Great demo man. I would like the demo with some TS as well to push the preamp of this nice big combo. That would sound great.

He did a number of other demos with some other overdrives. I'm getting around to posting them, too. I'll post them on here when I get them uploaded. And yes, the amp does sound great with some overdrive running through it!

You got to love a good old Fender amp with a Tube Screamer blowing it up. I'm looking forward to your other demos!

Thanks for doing this smile.gif

You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

The timing of this post is funny..
Check out what I dug out of the back of my closet the other day!.. its been in storage for over 20 years laugh.gif
I actually bought this amp from a church. The pastor was using it to deliver sermons..they bought a PA system and sold me this. I paid $250 cash for it in 1980.. it's a totally original 1968 Fender Super Reverb.

It needs to be serviced as when I plugged it in there was a whole lot of popping and cracking going on.. ohmy.gif

Man, you got yourself a gold cube here. I suggest full restoration to original specs, probably pots, some electronic components, and definitely the tubes have to be replaced. It will run you 200-500$ for restoration, but the value is enormous if you keep it to original specs and components as closest possible.

Holy cow, that is amazing! Definitely a keeper there! And only $250. That is incredible, my friend. I'd certainly go the route of restoring that amp.
