Perhaps someone has some experience with this...I know Pedja mentiond one book but I can't remember the name..I just remember him saying that 'it's worth stealing' Any help will be appreciated. If it's still in print 'Chord Chemistry' by Ted Greene. It's wonderful for explaining how chords are constructed and how they may be substituted. Maybe also check out some of the guitar theory primers from Steve Kahn and Mike Stern.
For something not directly guitar orientated but music theory more generally: Nicolas Slonimsky's 'Thesaurus of Scales and Melodic Patterns'. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer.
