yea, you read that right...

but my version is a cover of Seethers version of the song tongue.gif

I recorded this as my band is learning it and I thought the best way to learn it would be to record it.
Unfortunatly I have given up on mixing.... I just cant do it! so yes, the mixing is very bad tongue.gif

have fun listening to it and comment if you wish smile.gif

Sounds cool in my ears, maybe the guitar is a little bit loud in the choruses for my taste... I must also say that I just looove this song (yeah, im a real George Michael fan, hes a great song writer and a great singer in my opinion), I havent heard the version that You mention, but since its a good song, its possible to play it in all kind of flavours! smile.gif

This song is very popular here in the US right now.

Good work so far with this cover. I'm sure your band mates and you will Rock it!! smile.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Firstly, thanks for making me listen to Seether again smile.gif. Didn't like the lead guitar tone, I do like your variations of notes in your voice, the seether's vox doesn't do so much variations. I do think some harmony with your voice would fit good. Seems imcomplete to me. The mix overall isn't bad, but I think you've done lots betters, sounds a bit off, especially the lead guitar I'll say. Maybe add delay on your voice, or do some echo, just to try it out. On the last part before the choir repeats itself. Didn't like the way you said : "we hurt each other with the things we wanna say", that paused didn't seem good to me, by pause I mean the quarter note in the word "hurt". Just my suggestions smile.gif

Keep up the good work.
