Yea, Ive seen some recent photos of them touring and it seems like Kelly cant play guitar and growl anymore. What a shame. But it doesnt stop me from getting tickets to there last show in Chicago. Bathory is awesome as well, there albums from self titled to Hammerheart are my fav(especially Hammerheart). Oh yea some kid came up to me the other day and just screamed out Job for a Cowboy rules to me because he got confused the Goat from Self Titled Bathory to some shitty mallcore band.

Iron Maidens Fastest Solo?
Hmm, i'd have to think about that, Mercenary on Brave New World is pretty fast. and as for if i listen to 80's music, of course i do, Guns N' Roses, Winger, Extreme, Whitesnake, Motely Crue, and of course the other stuff like, Anthrax, Metallica, Helloween, Megadeth, Exodus, Testament, Slayer, and the early Death Metal Scene as well.

Caught somewhere in time solo is kinda fast I think. awesome solo, it lasts really long. though speed doesnt matter and maiden usually dont have super speed in their solos, like yngwie etc.

Yeah maiden dont usually play super high speeds. but Murray does do some legato that is like at 200+ bpm easily, especially live.

Yeah his legato is amazing, its as if his fretboard were butter, and all his fingers were Hot Knives. impossibly smooth, just love his style, one of the reasons why he is my number 1 favorite guitarists

And, i most certainly cannot forget, his "Slow" solo style, like the Nomad, he has such feeling and emotion and atmosphere in his playing, man he is just so good all around, and team him up with jancik or adrian (Especially Adrian) and its even better

Yeah, i couldnt agree more, epsecially Phantom Of The Opera, one of the first maiden songs i attempted to learn, still one of my faves. the bass in that song is so cool, hell all steves bass lines are awesome, His style reminds me of a warhorse charging into an epic battle.

God i love maiden

Yeah man, in the old days every song was a freakin bass solo, not just random crap but really awesome melodies with a very unique harris style, in my opinion the best bass player of all times, many other people says that too actually.

Ok, I take back that I said that the 80's were better than the 90's, I'm listening to Chains of misery right now, oh my goodness its atleast as good as the 80's, futureal, judas be my guide, no prayer for the dying etc. etc. man, my love for maiden just got revived! Been a while since I listened to it active.

Metal for the win man! Suprized you don't have In flames on there, absolutely my favorite band, along with COB, and, of course, I listen to Iron Maiden too.
