Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

here is the link to the original lession by marcus siepen:

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...entatonic-solo/

I played it a little bit more slowly than Marcus. I would spend to much time to get that speed and i want to use another lession now to improve my speed skills.
I hope its okay to upload the video with only 140 bpm.

I played a Vintage Les Paul (V100), used the Boss GT-10 into a H&K Attax 100.

Hi Mirko, your take is not bad, I have to downgrade my vote though because you changed the speed. I have to say I have never seen this here before, so I am not 100% sure how this is supposed to be handeled, but well, in my opinion all students should try the lessons at the original tempo when handing them in here, thats why I took off 1 point from my voting.
Concerning your playing, as I said this was not a bad take, your bending is not on spot yet though and also timing wise you get lost sometimes, specially in the end. What I really liked about your take is that you changed the technique in some point, while I am using hammer ons/pull offs in that fast part you switched to tapping and come to a similar result, this is something that I I can only encourage. If you don't feel comfortable with one technique, but you can master another one that leads to the same result, thats a cool option.

Good control and feel. Vibrato is also good. Marcus pointed to some things you need to pay attention on. I like this take. It needs very little to be perfect. Well done

So close Mirko, 7.3 on this take. You need at least a 7.5. One more try should do it!

Also, I notice this lesson is not at tempo as well. In order for it to be considered on your next attempt, it must be at original tempo and no Instructor leads.
